to spray tan or not to spray tan?

to spray tan or not to spray tan?

....that is the question
All summer long, whenever I had a big event, I went for a spray at the Rita Hazan Salon in NYC. The girl there is AWESOME!
I don't want to look tan-tan, b/c it is November, but feeling like maybe I should warm up my skin a little. It makes my shoulders and arms looked more defined too.
Here's 2 pics of when I've had it done. I usually go 2 days before the event b/c i don't want to look too dark. Maybe this time I'll go 3 days before. What do you think?
I felt tanner in person, but in the pics, I don't think I look like I hopped a flight from the Carribean, right?

Also, me w/o tan in dress. Flash didn't go off here so I really look pale.

hmmmm thats a tough one... I think you look great both ways! If they do a good job there and you feel better about yourself tanner (I know I always do!) then go for it-as long as you trust them!!! I had it done once and everything look great except for my hand... it looked like a had a bad skin condition!!! And it lasted for over a week like that!!! So thats the only thing that makes me nervous- but plenty of people go tanning for their wedding (including FH) so the spray sounds like a much healthier way to do it!!

I am going tanning the day before my wedding. I had it one 2 weeks ago and the day of I was very dark but the next day it look awesome! I told the girl I wanted to look natural and even with alittle glow. I had it done at Red Hots Sun Lounge & Spa in Roslyn – the woman Josephine was GREAT!
I say go for it and tell them you don’t want to look like you just came back from vacation, you want a nice glow.

No, to the spray tan. You look perfect the way you look. You look beautiful in your bridal gown. You will look so beautiful for your very special day. You will the wedding doll look which I had and was so happy with.

You look beautiful w/o it and IMO if you don't get it, there is no chance of anything going wrong. Mistakes happen, I let someone wax my FACE 5 days before the wedding and I broke out big time, but healed just in time for the wedding. If I could go back I wouldn't do anything that COULD go wrong. Especially if you look as good as you do in your dress, just the way you are.

i say do it. i get spray tanned before any even i go to - and i always feel so much better......a little tan looks great - you healthy and thinner.....i personally dont like when the bride is pale and she matches her dress - not that you do - but if I didnt do any sort of tanning, i would and that is why i always get one before a party!

I think you look great either way but the spray tan gives you a little color and glow. I'm not usually for these things but I say go for it.

I definitely think you should spray tan. I know tons of girls who have tanned or spray tanned and didn't regret it. I have already started my tanning sessions, mainly since I prefer the way I look in pictures when I am tan. If it doesn't bug you either way then save the money. But if you are like me and prefer a tanner look in pics, go for it. These pics will last forever.

If you feel that you will be more confident about your 'look' a little tanner then I say tan. I dont think there is anything wrong with a nice glow in November-cold or not
