To the girls who have had pneumonia before (TMI)

I had a pretty scary night last night. The grossness in my lungs has dripped into my stomach and it caused me to become physically ill.

Did this happen to any of you? Is this normal?

Omg..I never had pneumonia..but im sorry your feeling sick..I hope you feel better soon did you go to the doctor?

Awww

My cousin had BAD asthma as a child and she would literaly throw up the most amazingly nastiest stuff. It could be the result of post nasal drip or (not to be gross) do you find yourself 'snorting' a lot because you are stuffed up?

I was hospitalized on Monday and I've been on meds since then. Last night was the first night that happened. I called the emergency number at my doctor last night and they told me to take Calritin to stop the post nasal drip into my stomach. It's worked so far, but I'm afraid to eat now.

Thanks sweetie! I think it makes me feel better to know that what I'm feeling is normal so I don't freak out when it happens.

Yes that happened to me when I had it a few years ago. I also would cough so badly that I would sometimes gag and up came things I didn't expect

I hope you feel better soon as it is not fun to deal with. (don't forget too that sometimes the antibiotics cause more issues further south so eat yougurt or ask dr. for some diflucan )

When I had pneumonia, I was sick for about 7-10 days and was not allowed to do any physical activity.. THus I was not able to complete my gym credit for college and got it waved! LOL OK all joking aside,,, I remember I lost 10 pounds in 1 week and that I had to go for a few chest xrays. HTH! and Feel better. Just drink lots of liquids otherwise you can end up dehydrated! And I pretty much lived on Jello and applesauce~

FH has bronchitis right now, and he is coughing up so much phlegm (sp?) that he keeps having to spit. If he didnt spit it out I know he'd be throwing it up. I feel so bad!!

I'm sorry you're going thru this! I hope you feel better soon!!!
