What's the one thing you would have done differently if you could have your wedding all over again?
THANKS

Re: TO THOSE ALREADY MARRIED...
I would've gone over things with my DJ when we got the the reception - they messed up a few little things (noone else noticed....but i did!) and as horrible as this sounds, i wouldn't have taken the amount of time that we did to say hi to everyone - either get it done at the cocktail hour, or let them come to you! it's YOUR day! we missed so many good dancing songs saying hi to all 225 people...in a way it was nice cause we got to say hi & see everyone who was sharing our day with us...but thats what the receiving line at the ceremony is for...and anyone else will find YOU and say hello :) other than that, nothing!

Re: TO THOSE ALREADY MARRIED...
I truly had an AMAZING day. Most of the things I would have done differently would have been BEFORE the wedding...
I would not have been so anxious about pleasing certain people. Screw 'em.
I would have trusted my gut and not paid for certain people who responded yes - but who I KNEW would not go. I was right.
As to the wedding itself...
I would have taken time to taste some of the cocktail food and eaten some of my supper.
Most important of all... I would have paid to extend the party by at least an hour. I couldn't believe when it was over... and neither could anyone else!

I would have added another hour at the end. It went so fast. I loved every minute. To be able to have some more time.....
Thank you so much for saying this. I was at first leery that my 'free hour' was really free from my RH and then i got angry when i booked my dj and had to pay the extra hour-
but those above saying how they have to say hi to everyone - i know i want to do that and have fun-looking forward to my free extra hour for the first time today THANKYOU : ) ....unless my wedding is a dud and everyone leaves an hour early... :o/

Re: TO THOSE ALREADY MARRIED...
Two things:
- the must take photo list, but not those long ones that keep going around--just the essential family pics I wanted.
- and I wish I had remembered to ask the hall to pack any extra meals. Quite a few people didn't show at the last minute but we had to pay for their meals so I wish we could have enjoyed some filet mignon the next day, but it slipped my mind.
