To Those Already Married.....

Can you share if there was anything you forget about, or just didn't think of, during your planning?

I am so nervous that I am forgetting something...

Please share

thanks to this site i think i thought about and planned more than i needed to

don't worry about it... as long as you have all your major vendors, the rest of it is small stuff that's not necessary anyway!

We forgot to bring the RB pillows when we left the hotel. We noticed it as we were almost to church, so my limo driver stopped in a Catholic supply store around the block from my church and picked one up. Only that same pillow had a music box in it that played 'Jesus Loves Me' and once my RB figured that out, he was playing it through the whole ceremony

ETA: I didn't forget anything during planning though

I forgot to bring one of our invites the day of for professional pics, that I regret, as I had made them :(

Re: To Those Already Married.....

focus on your timeline. from when the vendors will get there/leave. limo arive/depart. picture taking...

does it make sense? do you have enough time?

do your vendors know all their instructions

this would be my suggestion

we had issues with the timing of our shuttle (b/c bus couldnt go on parkway!!!, so it took longer than planned)

and i just went to a wedding where limo wasnt 'aware' of exact location of picture taking which caused a lot of wrong turns and made us late for reception

Definitely didn't forget to plan anything, but I did forget stuff on the day. I forgot to send the programs/ribbon wands with my brother to DH's house so he could have them set up at the church. So then the limobus had to stop at my parent's house on their way to the church to get the stuff and all the guys (including DH) were in it so I couldn't go outside and take pics for fear that he'd see me.

Then I forgot the aisle runner and my converse sneakers! But oh well, I shrugged it off!

Hmm yes, just added to my to-do list, print out mapquest directions to each stop the limos will have to make, good point! Thanks!

THe day of was perfect didn't forget anything.

Confirm all your vendors the week of by phone. Make lists of what you need and check it off as you pack things in it.

I also made a list for DH for the day of so he wouldn't forget the few things he needed to bring.
