YES YES AND YES!!

the next morning we woke up and were like 'what did you do last night?' 'we got married!!!'

it was followed up with a 'i swear, it was worth every single penny if not more'

i felt so fulfilled and satisfied with our wedding, everything was just what we wanted and worth all teh saving.

as others said, i know its hard not to cuz i was the same way, but DONT SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF....the placement of things, the slightly off color matching etc.

for us it was. It was rough at point, no doubt, but in the end, with all hte stress and tears and annoyances, the day of the wedding we looked at each other and said 'this was worth it.'

It was seeing the people we cared about sharing our happines and wishing us the best, we are very social and it wouldnt have been the same without them

Sorry to crash... but YESSS, it was soooooo totally worth it!! To see all the little details come together on that 1 day completely blew my mind... The entire day, DH & I felt like we were in a fairytale world and it was simply amazing... More than I could have ever asked for

I LOVED my wedding. It was perfect other than a small snafu...I want to re-live it lol

If I could do it again?

I would go to an island, get married just me and H.

Then have a celebration at a RH somewhere here.

I originally wanted that but couldn't cuz of families.

i 2nd this... well said

Absolutely. We fcuking loved our wedding, and it was SO SO SO worth it. Everything was amazing.

If you're asking if it was worth all the money we spent... we'll that's a different question! haha!

Re: To those who have already been married.....

hey barb

dont worry about it it is totally natural...about 6-8 month b4 i was like screw it im done...but then when we started looking at invites and getting those ready i got back in the swing...as it got closer I decided to let my overly ambitious ideas go and no one cared that I didnt have a designer card box or table cards that I made.

It was ABSOLUTELY worth all of the planning dh and I had an amazing night and recently we were sitting and reflecting and he said it couldnt have been more perfect and it was the best night of his life...that in itself made me realize that we did this all on my own and it was special and amazing just because of that!!! I seriously wish it didnt go sooooooo fast and that I could do the night again. but i guess that is what the video is for!!! Crap better get on that lol

I'd have to say all of the stress is worth it. When you look back, you'll say to yourself '*** was I so stressed about?', and it was a blast, and things like that. Even with my small reception dinner, there was a huge element of stress with centerpieces, flowers or candles (i had floating votives and 2 of them kept sinking into the vases!) I went nuts a few times and realized later that no one even cared. They were too busy having fun! So, all of this to say what someone else already said: Don't sweat the small stuff!! You'll get back in the swing soon.
