To tip or not to tip? - phototgapher

Hi all,

So my photography package came with a free engagement shoot that I did not need because we had already taken pictures. So my photog was nice enough to offer me a B-pic session instead.
I am paying for the outfits - hair- make up but she is giving me the photo session free.
She is the owner of the company but I feel like I should tip her at least a little but because she is driving kinda far to take the photos and is providing her services free. My MOH says she does not think I should tip her since she owns the company.

Though anyone?

You normally don't tip the owner but if its going to bother you I do not see the harm in doing so

I would tip. For our e-pics we had the owner and we offered him a $50 tip but he didn't accept it.

I know I've heard the not tipping the owner thing but I always do, even for hair and nails, and for a lot fo my vendors (DJ, photo, video), we are working with the owner and I plan to tip.

I think especially when she's doing something she's not charging you for and taking a separate drive, etc, I would go out of my way to tip.
