To Veil or Not to Veil?

To Veil or Not to Veil?

I keep going back and forth. I'm having an outdoor mobile wedding (sail boat) and think it may just get in the way blowing in everyone's face. I know most of you won't have that issue, but I'd love some opinions and input.
It's a beautiful tradition, but I'm not sure it will work form me...
Help ladies!!!

totally up to you ... if you like the veil tradition, then you can get a short one or perhaps one of the birdcage veils ...

if you don't have a veil, will you regret it for the rest of your life? if the answer is yes, then def get one! if it's annoying, then you can always just take it off on the ship

I can see your delima..but if you want one get a cheaper one so if it is not to windy you can wear it (I'd wear it anyway..unless it was annoying me)

Have you seen my hair?! Can you do a birdcage with crazy curls which I plan on wearing crazy & curly day-of?

I'm on the fence. Half of me wants it for the ceremony and I think it's beautiful and romantic and dramatic, but the other half doesn't want to spend the $$!

Etsy has veils for about $30 and they're beautiful (though i haven't bought one so i can't really say) ... you should look there

I looked on E-bay but I want something with a little lace on it. The veil they put on me at the bridal salon had lace and rhinestones scattered over it and it was gorgeous and also $300! So far all I've been able to find as far as reasonably priced lace veils go are mantilla veils which isn't what I'm looking for. I'm going to try to go to Barron's and if not DB had some reasonably priced ones that I could work with!

Ang- where'd you get your veil?

You should do what you think you will be most comfy with. I am wearing a veil but without a blusher.

I'm not doing a veil - my dress is very detailed so I feel like it might look like too much. Plus I'd rather spend the $$ on something else!!!!
