That is the question. So some of you know I am undecided about the VH. I want it and I don't I am very on the fence about it.
I have heard JT does a wonderful VH!

At first I didn't want to do it but FILs really wanted to do it so we added it to the contract.. Now I am really glad I did it because I cannot wait to eat lots of dessert! and the VH includes popcorn so now I get to use the icon!!!!

i really think it depends on the type of families you guys have..... we have italians on both sides so its pretty expected and would prob be missed by them... there no stopping their eating LOL

I'm going to go ahead and say no on this one, even though I love VHs. But it really depends on your guest list size and the cost.
I wanted one badly, but at my RH it's pretty expensive, and we're having only around 125 guests, so for the amount of desserts that would go untouched it would have been a waste of money for us.
If there's an option for individual dessert upgrades, that's always another option to explore.

Re: To VH or not to VH (poll)
I think it depends on how its done. My experience from going to weddings is people will start leaving during the Viennese Hour so the wedding feels like it dwindles instead of everyone leaving right as the music ends still on a high. My friends was excellent, but all the major drama happenned during that hour. I want guests to leave on a high. Thats why I opted to not have it. But LE has dessert carts that they bring around. I think a lot of people enjoy the Viennese. I am just of a personal opinion that I want people to leave on the highest note, when they wish it would go another hour.

Re: To VH or not to VH (poll)
I just went to a wedding where everyone attacked the VH tables!! LOL. However, I don't think I am doing one b/c we already have so many extras (dylans candy bar, etc). Whatever you decide will be great though. I don't think it is a waste, more of a personal prefernce. People will eat it if its there!!! I know I have never refused extra dessert

My VH was included in my wedding package but we would have paid for it had we bookeed elsewhere for my daughters sake.

Re: To VH or not to VH (poll)
depends on the couple, if you feel ckae and pastries on the table is enough for your guests, and you can afford the extra $$ per person to do it, youll be fine with just the cake
personally iam doing it ,but iam really big on sweets and eat it 24/7 , so i couldnt be without one.

our wedding is at JT and we are doing it - its my favorite part of a wedding besides the CH and all the dancing
If by any chance you remember take pictures I would LOVE to see the lay out!
I am iffy b/c I think $15 is pricey
i will def have pics - did you already book JT? when we booked we got the price knocked down so you can try to negotiate that down a little - and try to have the chocolate fountain thrown in for free....

Re: To VH or not to VH (poll)
We just went to my friend's wedding. When they did the VH, we were all too busy dancing and drinking and couldn't be bothered. After talking about it at the hotel the next morning we figured out that only one out of 16 of my group of friends made it to the VH. That's what made me decide not to have one - I feel like it's a waste and people are so stuffed from all of the food before anyway!
