To VH or not to VH (poll)

That is the question. So some of you know I am undecided about the VH. I want it and I don't I am very on the fence about it.

I have heard JT does a wonderful VH!

I say if you want it...go for it!! I'm getting one...despite what all the cranky people say.

I have alot of people telling me 'they're such a waste'....it pisses me off....at my hall its $10....I can swing it!

I went to a wedding at CLM and the VH there was the best I have ever seen in my life they do a fabulous VH

our wedding is at JT and we are doing it - its my favorite part of a wedding besides the CH and all the dancing

I am iffy b/c I think $15 is pricey

We aren't doing one, we feel like it's too much and kind of a waste of money but thats JMO, if it's something you REALLY want, then definitely go for it

I am having a VH at the Inn at New Hyde Park and I am most excited for the cocktail hour and the VH in terms of food!

We're not doing it - we opted for the sundae bar instead - FH loves his ice cream!

FH and I opted out of it. Our opinion is that VH sort of ends the night and people begin to go home right after. We want a big party all night long, so we're only stopping the music for dinner, but that's just us.

What's making you think twice about it? the cost?

I personally love VH's but I didnt get one for my wedding because I KNOW it will be a waste.. there is so much food and I am already having a wedding cake, cupcakes, and cookie trays for desert... It is an extra $15 a person as well so I didnt want to tack that on... I hope I dont regret not having one...I also didnt want the extra hour added onto the wedding... 5 hours is enough!

i personally dont like VH's. I think that everyone is so full by then that it is a waste of money and food.

my FSIl had a full one at hers in august.. and there was sooooooo much left over.. I get a mini VH with mine and I think thats plenty

We aren't doing one, but that's just us. I've been to many weddings with them, and at every single one it's been a mad dash/free-for-all kind of attitude! It wasn't pretty to watch! We're doing a plated trio of desserts as well as the wedding cake.
