FLUTES AND PIE SERVER WITH KNIFE...DOES IT HAVE TO BE DECORATED?

What do you mean decorated?? Or do you mean engraved? In either case, no. Whatever you want.

I mean there are brides telling me to have my florist decorate them...with flowers????

seems a bit silly to put flowers on them...unless they mean ribbon...so it would be the same as the ribbon on your flowers. totally up to you

Umm..never heard/saw this ever before...not even on this site, and there's just about EVERYTHING on here.

I'm thinking there might have been some confusion, or misunderstanding, but maybe having 'decorated' servers and flutes...but like with rhinestones or a design or whatever...but not with flowers...

The only thing the florist would decorate is the cake table, your cake and your table (if you wanted this) not your toasting glasses, knife and server. I'm just having some flower petals on the tables.

My knife and server were decorated with white ribbon and some other stuff....my mother gave them to me for my shower. I had other engraved knife and server that I didn't use. You can get them or use what your hall has.

I don't think they need to be decorated. I have seen the ribbon as decoration before as some of the other girls mentioned. Just one thing - if you are going to do the ribbons yourself, be careful with your toasting glasses. My cousin was attempting to tie ribbons on herself and broke the glass. (not sure how she did it, but she did).
