Is anyone buying buying these for their wedding or will you just be using ones from the hall? I saw ones I liked but is this something I have to buy?

Re: Toasting Flutes?
traditionally, I think it's something that's purchased for you. my MOH (and sister) bought them for me for xmas. I included mine on my registery at Bed Bath and Beyond. The toasting flutes and cake cutter and server. These are mine.
I registered fr 2 that match my crystal but I kind of also want the swarovski ones!

Re: Toasting Flutes?
I actually had 2 sets given to me at my engagement party. I would wait and see if you get them as a gift, if not I would buy a set. They're nice to have.

It's not something that you must get, but it's really nice to have.

Re: Toasting Flutes?
Yup...toasting flutes were a big deal to me. We live really close the Nambe reservation here in New Mexico..so I collect Nambe. I always wanted to use the Nambe toasting flutes at my wedding so mom got them for me.
Honestly...I'm not being too big of a pain about my wedding except for this....I want the limo driver to have them ready for us....then to be given to our BM at Russos for our Champagne toast...and then again with the cake. I just want to use the heck out of them..and then put it with the rest of my Nambe...I love them....
We got 3 sets as gifts....I'd hold off it seems to be a common gift. Or register for the ones that you want.

Re: Toasting Flutes?
I wasn't really into the whole 'toasting flute' thing and was just going to use whatever my hall provided. But it happened that DH and I were out at Pugliese (where we got engaged) to pick up the cases of wine we were giving as favors and we saw that they had hand-painted champagne flutes with pink roses. It seemed perfect and something meaningful to us, so we bought a pair
