Today

Today

I'm moping and aching to go back to relive certain parts of my life, pretend that on the do over I'd live them better. Even though if I could go back, I'd do things the same way all over again.

I just like to pretend.

I hate when I can't shake the past. It drags me down for days.

Re: Today

Jesus Christ.

I feel the same way today.

not kidding.

I had just started to type a post, stating that I don't want to die...but I'd love to be living a different life.

I have been going over certain things. decisions that I made and that were made for me. things I didn't know, didn't see...and now trying to figure out where I am, how I got here....and what it all means.

I was going to ask if anyone knows how long it takes for your hormones to go back to 'normal' after your period...b/c the period is gone...but the whacky head remains...

Re: Today

I will never shake the idea that I know where exactly I'd be even in the alternative versions of my life - like where I'd be and all of that jazz - but I'd still be thinking these same thoughts. Just most likely not with you awesome chicks.

I fear that I've lost/wasted a lot. And actually have unintentionally/unknowingly broke someone's heart.

this is probably true. the mind is the mind is the mind. it's the location that changes..

sometimes I feel like I've broken my own heart.

I don't need to mull over that one - that's a given for me.

So when are we running away together with a suitcase full of pretty dresses and lavazza?

Re: Today

That is me - every day of my life. But i want to go back knowing everything I know today. I would kick some arse, and not be so hard on myself. I would also be differnt in my selection of members of the opposite sex. This is totally where my brain always go when I am out sunning or when I sporadically work out.

I was waiting for you to join in.

Though it makes me sad that other people wade through the mire of their own memories, I'm sort of glad to not be alone.

What is the saddest is that I know i am going to regret that I regretted so much when I should have been living it up. I get so wrapped up in the past that sometimes I think the present gets lost. Even immediately after an extended lament of days gone, I think to myself 'What the fcuk is wrong with me?'

This rings so true for me.

I think really I hold so many things in instead of a great release...that it seeps out over time. I cannot see the leaks but I swear it is killing anything nice than can bloom around me...if that makes sense.
