I celebrated with my students today by bringing in cupcakes. My wedding countdown inspired me. I missed counting down so much, that I made a birthday countdown I got my students involved too!

That's so cool, hope you enjoyed your day! How's everything going with teaching anyway? I think i'm getting the hang of it after a month..it's still ridiculously hard though

I'm getting the hang of it.... getting routines going, which for me seemed like the hardest part! Things are going well now, pretty much settling down, but something is telling me this is the calm before the storm.
Report cards are due soon, and then p/t conferences... and then the state tests will be here before we know it so, I'm just trying to enjoy the peace while I can.
Which grade do u have?

I'm not nervous yet. I'm usually not the type to get nervous about things until last minute, though. lol.
We have a month until ours. I feel like I don't have enough actual grades for the kids. I need to crack down and give more tests!
