Today is my Anniversary-but annoyed with FH!!

So today is our official 5 year anniversay! We dated on and off for 2 years prior but made it official 5 years ago today!

But get this-FH says to me-it's been 7 years; do we have to continue to celebrate! I couldn't believe him! Uh YES idiot!! You don't just stop celebrating your b-day do you after each year!

SO this morning when we got up i said Good Morning & Happy Anniversary-he said 'oh yea that...happy anniversary' and continued to pick out his clothes. So i pretty much walked out the room annoyed and left his card on the kitchen counter. and left for work. Don't even remember if i said goodbye or anything. I called him a little while ago and said 'Happy Anniversary' and his response was 'again'?

He did manage to update his facebook status about the anniversary-not for my sake but probably to just get the congrats from other people!

I get that guys aren't mushy & don't always care about these things. BUT what ever happened to doing something because you know someone else would like it???? To make your fiance/future wife happy??

He better suprise me with something later!

I was going to say that. Some guys (mine included) love to egg on their ladies on occasion, just to have them be surprised later. While this logic isn't the smartest in my personal opinion, they usually do it with good intentions.

I say, give him the benefit of the doubt for now and see what he comes up with later. Happy Anniversary!!!

uh oh. he'd better get to the store and at least get you a card. some guys are like that. he's probably thinking aren't we getting married? isn't that dating anniversary thing done now?

LOL! That's exactly what he said! That we're getting married; so the wedding date is now our NEW anniversary!

wow, i'm sorry. i would be upset if FH didn't say anything either. FH already told me that we are not going to be celebrating our anniversary date after we get married because it would be too much for him to remember. lol.
