Today is the first anniversary of my Dad's death....

I knew this day was going to be tough. But on top of it, my uncle, my dad's brother, passed away last Friday. The wake is today, funeral tomorrow. Their mother, my Grammy, passed away last January. I don't know how I'm going to make it through another funeral. This sucks......

I'm so sorry, sweetie! I think you deserve to treat yourself to something nice. A trip to the park, some ice cream, anything fun.

I'm so sorry. That's awful.

Just share the love they had for you with your daughter & tell her all the wonderful things you remember about them & their spirit will always be with your your family.

I didn't know sweetie...
Nothing that I can say other then I'm here if you need/want to talk about it....It is going to be rough. There's no way around it and the 1st's are always the hardest...time heals everything but it will hurt a lot as you begin to deal with the anniversary...I'm so sorry you have to go through the wake and funeral of your uncle at the same time. Think of them as together now and try to smile for them if you can.
Lots of hugs and prayers for you and your family. I love ya! Please be good to yourself these next few days and try to smile!!
