Today was My Shower!! UPDATED W/PICS!! & More Pics!!
I had such an incredible shower. My mom and BM's went all out and threw one heck of a party. Although I had my suspicions, I truly was surprised. I did not imagine it would be as big and well planned out as it was. And I was extremely surprised when I walked in and saw my two cousins(BM) had flown in from Florida and my aunt came up from Boston.
It was at the New Hyde Park Inn. Everything was great. Anyone looking for a shower place, the food was great and they have a whole package that includes the wishing well, and umbrella and punch and a bunch of other stuff.
OMG the presents, there were so many. I could not believe how generous people were. I got so much stuff. My room at my mothers is filled to the brim. Plus we also got a lot of Gift Certificates to do some more shopping. I swear I opened presents for over 2 1/2 hour. They were neverending, and I didn't even open them all because it wa getting late I had to leave a few from my friend and stepmom wrapped, but they told me they were the same stuff as the first ones I opened from them.
It truly was one of the best days of my life. I can't wait for the wedding. My mother did so much and I am so grateful to her. She always goes above and beyond to make her children happy and I hope one day I will be as good a mother as she is. I love you Mom, If you read this!!
Well, I am pretty exhausted so I am going to go rest for a while. I will post pics tomorrow. I left my camera in the car.
Oh and FH is the best, I can't wait to marry him. When he came back at the end he had an enormous bouquet of multi colored roses for me. He is such a doll. To surprise me he actually wokw up at 5:00 this morning and pretended he went to work, just to go along with the surprise. Poor thing, he couldn't go anywhere because he didn't know where I would show up so he went to Stop and Shop parking lot, parked the car and went to sleep for a little while. I love that man and can't wait to marry him in only three and a half months. Thanks you for reading, I will post pics and any more info you want tomorrow. Bye!!!![]()
