Today was the WORST day that I have EVER had at work... LONG
I am supposed to be training someone. Turns out, someone else was trying to get her to help them. And, actually horn in on one of MY clients.
So, I got into an argument with that person's manager (I really do like the manager a lot, but it got FUGLY) It's fine now, but I feel really upset that it ever happened. To defend himself, this guy LIED to his boss about me. He looked really stupid when I proved that he was lying, but now I feel SICK just thinking about him, after what he did!!!
Then, someone left me a voice message asking for something. Ten minutes later, they called my boss to complain. (This is someone whom I have done MANY, MANY, MANY favors for in the past, and she could not wait TEN MINUTES for me to get back to my desk?)
Walked back to my desk and saw that someone took my overnight-delivery package out of the mail bin because it wasn't 'approved' for shipping. I am a professional employee and have NEVER been told that I needed to have a package approved for shipping. And, the contents in the package were VERY time sensitive. So, I had to explain to someone that they may not get added back on to their health plan because some AZZ HAT took my package out of the mail bin.
Then, I was looking up one of my clients, and it turns out that he has never even been BILLED for any of the work that I've done. NOT EVEN ONCE. He must think that I am the biggest idiot. (this was an issue with our billing department, but still- it really makes me look stupid)
And, me and my colleagues share an assistant. I needed her to help me with something, but she's all pissy and said she's too busy. So, now the work isn't going to get done. And, another person will be angry tomorrow.
To end the day, this other manager who I really don't like, started complimenting me about what a great job I do. So, I walked out feeling guilty because I really don't like this guy.
