Today's adventure! Help if you can!
So we are having construction to rebuild our place b/c the neighbor drove her car into it back in June. Finally, the work began this week (after dealing with multiple insurance companies! UGH!!!).
The walls have been opened up and the door is always open from the workers. Well, right before lunch I go downstairs and see A MOUSE! I flip out! The contractors were gone then for lunch. I was calling DH, who didn't know what to do about me or the mouse, my mother, my cousin, FIL, etc. FIL came over and looked but couldn't find the thing. I went to Ace and got some no kill traps and one of those things that put out a high freq. noise to scare them. Well, no sign of the darn thing!
I hate mice! I've seen a couple in a school I worked in but never in my neighborhood!!!! It took me a good 45 minutes just to calm down. I was standing around holding a broom and a bucket (like that would help me!)
I'm still afraid b/c I think he's still in here somewhere! I saw him run into a utility closet. He may have run out again when I wasn't looking. DH will be investigating when he gets home!!!
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to catch this thing??? I don't want it to eat through my walls or go into my heating/CAC vents!
