TODAY'S OUR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Today is our 2 year anniversary....I've been looking forward to it all week but today I'm pretty bummed out..... FH had a really busy/bad week and is in no mood to do anything tonight. The only mention he made of our anniversary was in a short email this morning:

'Happy anniversary. We did it - it's been 2 years. Ok, well have a good day'

I spoke to him alittle while ago and he's still working, counting the hours till he can go home and veg out by himself. So it looks like I'll be home all by myself tonight

I really thought there was going to be an update that he surprised you. My FH surprises on days when I would never expect it. Knowing that I would expect something on our anniversary is a day he would end up not giving me any surprises. MEN

i was hoping for a surprise too....this is the first time he hasn't done anything special for an anniversary, b-day, valentines day, etc....

i know he's had a rough week, but i'm still dissappointed

he actually told me that he thought our anniversary no big deal because we were getting married and we would have a new anniversary.

That would have been the same response my FH would have gave me. I would feel sad but I would understand if he had a rough week. It's good that you're understanding. He prob. loves you more for that.

aww well hopefully he does something! fh and my 5 year anniversary was a few weeks ago and we did nothing!!! so i was a bit dissapointed but bc we are trying to save money for the wedding we really dont have any money to spend to go out or give gifts so oh well...but hopefully hes beaing sneaky and has soemthing up his sleeve!
