today...UPDATED!!

at 2 Im getting my wisdom tooth pulled. Im so scared lol

im back and all of you were right.... it wasnt bad at all!! My oral surgeon is awesome, he had it out in less than a minute. My face is super swollen but hey I cant wait to eat my ice cream and chocolate pudding!

good luck. FH has had all 4 pulled out over the past 2 years. they did two at a time each time. the first time was the worst because he had an infection. the second time they gave him too many pain killers & to this day still doesn't remember paying the dentist or how he got home.

Don't worry, its not that bad. I've had all mine pulled, two at a time, and it wasn't that bad.

Good luck Kerri. I did all four wisdom teeth at once and was out of work for a week. My face got so big, lol.

If you have a good dentist, you shouldn't feel a thing.

I have had two of mine pulled and one was impacted and neither one of them hurt during the process. You may feel some aching afterwards, so be sure your dentist gives you some pain meds. To me it never got that bad to use the meds, so I think you will be fine pain wise.

What is the most annoying is making sure food doesn't find itself on the open wound.

You should be fine though. I had all 4 of mine pulled out on a Friday afternoon and was back at work (doing customer service no less) that Monday. Just make sure to get some good painkillers and lots of ice cream, pudding and jello!

aw dont worry too much. I had all 4 taken out at once and it didn't hurt during the process but I am not gonna lie, it was uncomfortable for the first day or so afterwards. Id recommend some ice cream or yogurt and defintely some painkillers if your stomach can take them. Unfortunately they made my throw up so I couldn't take them.
