both sil and I work for my dad and we are now understaffed today and its busy here sorry i didnt tell you guys that earlier

Re: told off SIL
** Pls bring me up to speed**
Does you SIL work for your dad? If so, then it was her responsiblity as an employee to inform your dad of a 'needed day off'
Pls clarify if I have the story wrong!

Re: told off SIL
Has this been a pattern with her?
What I see is that she is in a 'comfort zone'? To her, their is no need to formally ask for the day because she works for 'family'. You have to speak with her and lay down the law. Tell her you are not the middle man when it comes to giving notice. And, also she needs to clear the air with your dad and apologize for the unprofessional behavior.

I told her all of that lol..I was like I am not your messenger....and you better clear this with dad...so I russelled some feathers and nothing will probably happen...but it felt damn good to tell her off
