I heard to make this appetizer, certain balsamic vinagrettes taste differently.....which one should I use and where can I get fresh mozzarella?

Most supermarkets carry fresh mozzerella either with the specialty cheeses or in the deli. If not any Italian specialty stores carries it or Italian delis. Shouldn't be hard to find.
I don't have a specialy balsamic I use. I usually buy what's on sale. If I run out and want to make tom. and moz., I have even used the balsamic salad dressing from Wishbone - I almost alwasy have that in my house.
I usually get the fresh mozz at the deli...and like niecey I use what ever bal vin thats on sale...
DH and I even make a hamburger and put tomato, mozz and bal vin on it...instead of the bun...its so good...

i use heinz balsamic vinegar - they have a 3 pack of them at bjs - the fresh mozz is awesome i usually get it at this italian store (found its cheapest!) but ithink most supermarkets have it too!

you can get fresh mozzarella anywhere, but stick to the Salumeria's they have the best tasting. I like Modena balsamic vinegar
