Im a little nervous bec I may try on 1000 dresses an not like any of them. I know I have seen a ton of gowns through pics and they look like 'the one' but Iam afraid that if I see them in person I will hate them. First stop Amsale, sec stop Klenfields. Do I need to bring anything? Advice? Wish me luck

I would say bring in pics or names of some gowns or designers you like. It will help narrow it down and also it would avoid being overwhelmed by all the choices. The ladies should be helpful and begin to pick up what style you like.

Just bring a positive attitude with you, that you will find 'the one' maybe not the first place, maybe not the first day, but you WIll find the dress that makes you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world!
Good luck and oh, don't eat 3 bowls of pasta with bread on the side before trying on the dresses! JK! LMAOOooooo!![]()

strapless bra and clean undies!
i would keep an open mind and try on anything and everything. all the pics i had pulled did not look good on me! i tried on every style and type of dress i could get my hands on - just to see which shape looked better on me, which turned out to be modified A line. From there, i only started to request modified A-line dresses and kept eliminating choices from there.

Yessssssss def a strapless bra, I almost forgot, I will start in the city and then next week I will try BF just to get an idea of the diff dresses. Bec KF told me they dont have Reem Acra and St Pucchi but BF told me they do and I like many designers![]()

Uhmmm kleinfelds does have reem acra, i even tried one on and when i went the first time they had a reem acra trunk show

Honestly i had the best experiences at Amsale and Kleinfelds.
Both places gave me a strapless bra to wear in my size and high heels to wear in my size.
Amsale was the only store that gave us mimosas and a snack. I worked with nicola, she was very knowledgeable and very nice,
OH and after kleinfelds, if you are HUNGRY
GO to ELMO its on 7th and 20th down the block from kleinfelds. IT IS SO GOOD AND SO CHEAP
they have hte best pear bellinis in the city!

JUST MY LUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK OMG, $HITTTTTTTTT, I just got an email from the lady at Amsale saying that the dress I asked for tomm to try on has been DIS-FING-CONTINUED, but the sample of this in ivory (watch it not be my size) is on SALE!!!! What do I do now?????? I want white, you see already I havent started my shopping and problems![]()
