Tomm I start my gown shopping.........

Im a little nervous bec I may try on 1000 dresses an not like any of them. I know I have seen a ton of gowns through pics and they look like 'the one' but Iam afraid that if I see them in person I will hate them. First stop Amsale, sec stop Klenfields. Do I need to bring anything? Advice? Wish me luck

Really, when I went a couple months ago for that sample sale , I asked for Reem Acra and St Pucchi Couture and they said no they dont have but now I think that she was referring to the sample dresses and not the real dresses. Bec I could have sworn they had alot of those popular designers. Tomm I will go to KF, I changed my appt so I will be going to Amsale later on today, I told the lady my size and I think that sample dress is in my size bec she didnt say otherwise, so we will see, I want to try on dresses at KF also, Im sooooo indecisive, I hate it

the reem acra trunk show at KF is from june 15-21.

Yeah maybe for the sample sale they didnt have reem's for whatever reason.

KF also told me they didnt have some dresses that i wanted to try on when i went there....then i called back and they had them for example...the dress i ended up buying...i brought in a pic and showed it to the lady...she said they really have that style dress there! weird. i just think its cuz the lady didnt know, maybe??? i dunno.

i would just say try on a variety of dresses because u never know what ull end up liking...it might not even be anything u had in mind.

anyway....have fun!!!! let us know how it goes...u dont have to make a decision right away so at least u can try on a bunch and go back if u need to.

good luck!! and just remember to ENJOY it! try on styles you may not like on the hanger. they all look different on. oh and EAT so you dont get dizzy! trying on dress after dress is a lot so eat and drink water! Let us know how it goes!

yeah it was probably someone new who doesn't really know what they are doing. For anyone wondering on their site kleinfeldbridal.com they have a list of every designer they carry

def. bring an open mind...the dress i bought wasnt what i was picturing and i never even heard of the designer but i adore it <33
and bring a camera and personally i wore boy shorts bc when i bought my dress at kleinfelds there were 5 ppl in the dressing room with me! lol

i would keep an open mind and try on anything and everything. all the pics i had pulled did not look good on me! i tried on every style and type of dress i could get my hands on - just to see which shape looked better on me, which turned out to be modified A line. From there, i only started to request modified A-line dresses and kept eliminating choices from there.

hey, when I went I went straight from work and HELLO! I had hot pink boy shorts on with polka dots...you could see them through the slip...lol.

i've tried on at least 50-60 gowns so far and no luck.
while it's a little upsetting it's really not that big of a deal.
the right dress is out there so just make sure you keep calm.

i'd bring a bottle of water and a granola bar or something quick to snack on.

I tried on a TON also, but...what I found was the more I tried on, the more I got confused...in the end I went with my original choice! I guess that happeneds to a lot of brides.

I'd also say have a positive attidude and also have an idea on what you want and like. Also bring an open mind- some gowns you may have seen in photos may look better in person. Also sometimes when you get someone who can feel out your personality can choose something for you to try on that you may not have thought about trying on to begin with.

Also don't get discouraged if you don't find 'the gown' right away. Best advice someone gave me when I went gown shopping is you have to not like your gown but you have to LOVE it.

I have to say also wear a strapless bra and clean undies..lol
