Has anyone seen them in action? I am meeting with DJs (hope to book this month) and am wondering what people think of them. I want to work with someone who can get people on the dance floor but isn't over the top. I also have an appointment with High Voltage...Thoughts?
I highly recommend High Voltage. I used him and so did my friend. He was awesome!
I have heard nothing but great things about them & both of my friends who are getting married are using them.
Tommy Tunes is AMAZING!!! I've seen them TONS of times and knew that when I was engaged, that's exactly who I would have. They even did Jamie Lynn Discala's wedding. (That's the girl from the Soprano's). I'm telling you, with all of my worrying, that's the one vendor I can count on to do their job wonderfully!!!
I have seen them at weddings before and at showcases...they are excellent
i had tommy and wow what a great time we had ! they helped us get our wedding song(hard to find it) they treat you as a sister getting married! they are truely a great bunch of guys to work with!
I used them for my engagment party and had nothing but problems.

They did my sisters wedding and my cousins wedding this past year and they were great.
Well the DJ I hired did not come they sent someone else and he looked like some bum off the street, he was almost 30 min late and was not even dressed. Then proceeds to get dressed in by the DJ both after he set up and by this time the guests were already coming in. He had none of the play do not play list that I had sent them and told me they sent him last min. because the DJ was double booked that I booked. So he had nothing so I had to give him my copies of everything. And the whole night he took no requests people would go up and requests songs including me and he did not play one of them. It was the worst experience I ever had with a DJ and needless to say I was going to use him for my wedding and cancelled him.
Saw them 2 weeks ago......not impressed for all the hoopla I hear. Not impressed at all.....
we met with them but we really turned off because the video we saw the guy was totally in the guest faces and dancing on the dance floor with them like a fool shoving the mic in peoples' faces! way too over the top!

we are using Tommy Tunes and couldn't be happier. We've seen them at other weddings, and they mad it fantastic!
i havent seen them live, but my friend recommended them and said they were great!! ...and she is NOT impressed by all that wedding stuff...i dont think you can go wrong...i hear other people saying they are a good time
