I am sure this was asked before but I can't seem to find the posts...
Anyway, my top two DJs are Tommy's Tunes and Long Island Sound. I am just looking for any kind of feedback, good or bad, on both of these vendors.
Any recommendations? Personal experiences? Price quotes (FM me)? *4 hours, DJ/MC, basic lights, no zapshots, etc*

We booked with Tommy Tunes. We've seen them at other weddings and they are always GREAT! And the staff is the nicest to work with. We also checked out LI Sound and for some reason didnt get any good vibes from them. IMO. Good luck!
We went to 2 weddings that used LI Sound, and they were both fantastic.

I thought Tommy Tunes was too 'prom-ish' and I found that Kevin from LI Sound was sooo nice and not pushy at all. So...my vote is LI Sound.

We used LI Sound for our wedding and they were AMAZING!!!! Chris was our MC, not sure of the DJ's name but the dancefloor was packed all night. They were great to work with and they were very professional and fun!

We used LI Sound and loved them, they did exactly what we wanted, we were very happy!!!!

I heard a terrible story with Tommy's Tunes, but I also heard them at a wedding and they were pretty good. I vote for LI Sound!

IN all fairness, the story was from a wedding that was supposed to occur a few years ago, so things have surely improved.....a lot of people really like Tommy's Tunes....we were going to look into them as well.....then Big Apple Entertainment was recommended by friend's of ours....we loved them!
As I said earlier, they were the DJ's at a wedding I was at recently and a lot of people were up on the floor dancing....we had a great time at the wedding, so I am sure that you will be fine whichever one you choose!

Ive been to weddings with both and I LOVED LI sound, dance floor was packed all night. At the wedding that had tommy tunes, the music was good but not great, and I thought the MC they had was so/so... He spent more time eating then talking. Could have been that the bride and groom didn't want to much talking for all I know though because they were happy with them. Also they had very young DJs/or maybe they were DJ assistants and the one was in sweat pants?!! This was just my experience at someone elses wedding though, I have heard rave reviews though from other people about them.

DItto! They were recommended by a couple of my close friends who used them and loved them. My banquet manager's favorite DJs were LI Sound and Tommy's Tunes. You probably won't go wrong with either one!!
