Tomorrow...

Is anyone going to the bridal showcase tomorrow? I've never been to one so I'm curious what to expect. I still haven't booked a florist or officiant so I'm hoping to meet some vendors tomorrow.

I'm going my first one also. I would imagine it will be like any other trade show if you've ever been to one of those. I used to go to Jacob Javits center in the city for hair shows so that's really what I'm going off of. Hoping to meet with dj and limo myself.

I'm going mainly to look at florists and limos but also looking into hair/makeup/invitations/etc.

They can get pretty overwhelming so don't feel bad by skipping booths and saying 'no thanks' to vendors you don't want to talk to.

I ended up not being able to make it : ( Traffic to get off my school campus was ridiculous and then I would have had to make the trip from Staten Island so I couldn't justify all that driving for probably less then an hour if even that there. It sucks all the expos I find are only on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday's and those days are really difficult for us to do. And although I know this is totally not justified but when I realized I wasn't going to make the trip I had to fight back tears. Emotional for no real reason ahhhhhhhh emotions they suck !!! Hope all who went had a great time

Considering that I've never been to one, I thought it was good. There seemed to be a lot of limo companies there, which I didn't need. Already have my DJ/photobooth stuff so didn't need that either. I did get to talk to some invitation people and some makeup artists. Also met some officiants, so that was good.

that is a great idea! although I didn't have many things to fill out bc I think by the time I got there most of them were ready to leave or they didn't care! but I know for next time!
