I'm going dress shopping for the first time! I'm super nervous! My mom and I are making an afternoon of it. Things have been so crazy lately and I feel like I'm never home anymore, so I though this would be a nice way to kick off Mother's Day weekend for her.
I just went dress shopping for the first time on Tuesday! It was fun except I'm short I'm 5'1 so a lot of the dresses didn't work for me but I had fun nonetheless. Enjoy every minute of it the look on my mom's face when seeing me in a wedding dress for the first time definitely was worth it.
That's exciting! I'm 5'9' lol so I'm hoping they will be long enough... I know my mom is going to start crying at every dress lol
I'm 4'11' so i feel your pain with the dresses not all working for you! Good luck with dress shopping both of you!

Thanks ladies!....I'm going to bridal reflections in massapequa....they are having a James Clifford trunk show this week....my friend got her dresses there and had a great experience so I figured why not try there first. Yes dressES, she bought 2 lol one for ceremony one for reception

It went really well! I went to bridal reflections in massapequa and Mary Lou was my consultant she was awesome! So sweet! I had no idea what I wanted and she was very patient with me, great first experience. I found one that I love but I want to shop around a little more first.

If you are thinking of making a trip to NYC, and want a good experience, I went to RK Bridal, and found my dress last week :)
They have bridesmaids, MOB MOG dresses, anything you can think of. It's Kleinfelds without the glamour of the TV show.

Awesome! I went to 3 places today Bridal Reflections in Westbury, RK Bridal in the city, and Estelle's. It was exciting and tiring at the same time lol
Yes it's very tiring! Lol...... I went to Helens in commack too, I had an awesome experience there. Liz was so nice and let us pick dresses and never pressured me. I highly recommend her
I had Cindy at Helen's and she was great too. I tried on so many dresses there and wasn't rushed at all!
