My first fitting!!! When my dress came in I tried it on and it fit pretty well so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for minimal alterations. I'm really excited because now I have all of my accessories so I will be able to see the full picture of what I'm going to look like on the big day!!!

It went really well! I really don't need a lot done to it, just cups, the hem, bustle and taken in a tiny bit. I was floored with the cost, $415! Luckily my dress is from Macys and I had almost $200 in gift cards from my shower. I just hope when I go back in a few weeks that I don't need anything else because I won't be able to afford it!

How did yours go???

It went pretty well, just need the hem and bustle to be done... Didn't know macy's did alterations. I would have def. used up some gift cards I have. I was totally shocked at the price... $435. My mom is a seamstress and she was floored by it too. If those are included in the $415, they shouldn't charge you additional. This is highway robbery.

My alterations were $250 and I thought that was bad being my dress cost only $450! I have no bustle and theyre only hemming the front half though so that helps. Final fitting tomorrow!

It really is highway robbery! The $415 included everything, I'm just worried that when I go back I'll need something else done, like it taken in more or something and I'll have to pay again!

MrsB92713 You got a great deal on your dress! but spending about half the cost of it on alterations is crazy! Good luck tomorrow!

I was very proud of my thrifty shopping and I am in love with my dress! The skirt is all ruffles and each one has to be hemmed individually or the bottom wouldnt sit right. I get that its a lot of work. The prices on this stuff is insane though.
