My Knee surgery is tomorrow. Ill be on for a little while but i have to try to get a good night sleep. I am nervous cause i have never had surgery before but i know it will be ok. Its nothing major but its still a little scary your first time having a surgery. I am looking forward to it at the same time....hopefully i wont be in pain anymore!!!
wish me luck if i am feeling up to it ill be on tomorrow if not then Wed

Hi all.....not staying on just wanted to let you know the surgery went well. I cant keep anything down and i am in ALOTTTTTT of pain lol. We wont know how well the surgery worked till i am up and around they dont want me leaving the house till friday, by then the swelling and stuff should be gone. I will talk to u all tomorrow if i am feeling better i am gonna go back to the bed now . Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes!

oops didnt notice you had it already. Yeah it's hard to eat and tolerate it because of the anesthesia and pain medication. Try something small and DRY (crackers, toast without butter) first. Ginger ale is tolerated pretty well. Or.... Start with a totally clear diet (jello, broth, anything see-through) then progress to a full diet (milk/coffee, apple sauce, basically thicker fluids) then progress to a regular diet.
This is what is done for my patients to prevent them from throwing up or feeling nauseas.
