Tonight is....

So Tonight is our precana which consists of taking the priest out to dinner...., when we first heard we had to do this...FH told me he better not pick a place like Aureos (a very expensive Steak house) and of course he just called us to tell us to meet him at Aureos in Bayridge Brooklyn tonight GREAT., we almost died. And of course he picks Ash Wednesday of all days to go to a Steakhouse.

Im very nervous., he intimidates me. FH Starts off by telling him that I live in Brooklyn and he lives in the City WHICH IS NOT THE CASE....we live together lol., first lie..

and if he asks us about premarital sex lmao.
wish us luck

PS WE ARE GETTING MARRIED IN A GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH..THEY DONT DO PRE-CANA. And...im catholic

haaaaaaaaaa he asked me..is it a problem for you if we go to a steakhouse (cuz im catholic, and hes orthodox) they get to EAT STEAK and I will eat overpriced PASTA)

Ahhhh!!! Good Luck with that! Have you seen the movie Licensed to Wed yet? With Robin Williams and Mandy Moore? It's hysterical and I'm sure that you and your FH will get a kick out of it!!!

Just have some Pasta and like the others said...Kick the FH under the table when necessary!! LOL - You'll do just fine...Just go with the flow, smile and nod a lot! Have fun with it!!!

And FYI we went to pre-cana for 3 sessions with a married couple. Not once, did the subject of sex come up.

Lisa is not getting married in a catholic church, shes getting married at a greek church which is a different religion. Greek orthodox doesnt do pre-cana. You just meet with the priest a little bit to talk, seems like her priest wants to talk at a restaurant to get a meal out of it
