Tonite !!!! Cute story
As some of you know , I already have my church booked, but we had wanted the priest that did all my sacriments as well as family weddings & funerals too, marry us. He is now in another parish, so we had to go & speak to him about this. We knew he would say yes, but get this,,
I grew up in Carle Place & FH grew up in Baldwin, The priest was the pastor in CP for a gazillion years & now is a Monsignor (sp) anyways , so as we are talking to him he ask's FH what his last name is. He tells him & then he says , oh , do u have family in Baldwin , & FH is like , yea, I grew up there, he goes are you related to a Harold so & so, & FH is like um , yes, my uncle & my grandfather , So then he goes I use to be the pastor at St Chris in Baldwin & the name is very familar, he says he did the cermony for his grandfather when he passed away almost 20 years ago!!!!![]()
My fh was speachless. I was like huh !!! ![]()
So we were like ok, he use to be in my parish , did all me & my families things , now we find out he was in FH parish beofre that & also did the cermony for his grandfather,,
FH is all humbled now because he basically buried his grandfather 20 years ago & fh is the first grandchild as well .. Really Really ironic,,
