My favors are chocolates in bags with a donation card attached. When should I put the chocolate in the bags so I dont have ANOTHER thing to do? (they are hersheys kisses)

Re: Too early?????
Honestly, if you asking the question you want to do it now. Just do it! Keep the chocolates in a cool place, but it really will be one less thing.
JMHO.

Re: Too early?????
I know that melting chocolate used to make molds has a 6-8mth shelf life and they do not harbor any bacteria so it would be safe to say that kisses will be fine if you do it now I am sure they have more presertives than melting Chocolate.

Re: Too early?????
Here's from Hershey's website:
Question: How long should I keep chocolate? Answer: The shelf life of confectionery products is generally a year. Ingredients such as nuts will shorten the shelf life. Products kept beyond recommended shelf life may have flavor loss or texture changes.
Question: How should I store chocolate? Answer: Solid chocolate products will maintain their freshness if well wrapped and stored in a cool, dry place (55–60°F). Cocoa is considered a non-perishable item which should maintain freshness if stored at room temperature in a tightly sealed container.
Do it!

Re: Too early?????
id say april...they wont go bad!......what color are your dresses/flowers...because you can get kisses in red (valentines day) and use those...or pastels (easter) depending..instead of silver...give a little color

Re: Too early?????
when they melt and then re-solidify, they get a whitish film on them. just nake sure they dont melt. I agree about waiting to get the pastel colored ones
