FH and I are going to be stuffing all our invites today and he insists on sending them out this week. I wanted to wait until the end of this month. That would leave about 8 weeks till our RSVP deadline.
Is 9 or 10 weeks too soon? Or do I put my foot down and tell him that we are waiting until the end of the month?

usually the RSVP date is 1 month before the wedding. If you send them out now, you will go crazy waiting for RSVP's to come in the mail. LOL

Do you have a B list that also needs to go out? If you do, I'd send them a bit sooner. If not, I'd do it your way!

I've heard that invites should go out no sooner than 2 months before the wedding

Our RSVP date is March 25th.
We are doing 2 rounds of invites. 1 round is close family/friends. The 2nd round is about 200 business contacts, a lot of which are either out of state or out of the country.

My RSVP date is Feb 26th we sent out out invites 2 weeks before Xmas so ours will be out 11 weeks by the time the RSVP date rolls around. Do it when you feel comfortable doing it. Because either way people will forget to RSVP.

I would wait, that is a lot of space between RSVP and the wedding, people might forget

i would defiantly wait at least 2-3 weeks before sending them out.... you dont want them going out Tooo early...
