Ladies...I NEEED your help! Please, honest opinions!
Our RH is in Lake Ronkonkoma, which is alredy more then half paid. Now, the 2nd to last church that we are looking at right now is in East Northport. If we end up booking this, is that too far of a drive for all the guests... East Northport to Lake Ronkonkoma? Some people are making faces when I say where the church is... but we are really low on options. What do you ladies think???

Not at all!!!
My Church is in Seaford and my RH is in E. Northport.. I am making my guests drive alot further.. but there is plenty of time in between and they can suck it up!

But seriously don't worry about them. Thats not even a far drive at all. Think of all my guests trecking from one end of the island to the other and you will feel better

My church is in Queens and RH is in Woodbury. People will deal. Those that want to be there, will make it their business to be there.
Don't even worry about it. You do what is best for you and FH, it's your day and its up to everyone to accomodate you...after all.....you are treating them to an amazing evening!

It doesn't have to be convenient for everyone, they just have to do it. It's not like you're asking them to drive to manhattan and back. It's a few extra minutes! Don't worry about it - people just like to be complainers these days.

I was also told as one of the complaints that it's congested over there....with traffic. Is that really the case?? I'm going there tonight, and i just hope that everything works out!

Sorry to crash but it is definitely not too far apart. My church was in Saville and my reception was in floral park. My parents actually hired coach buses to take guests from the church to the hall and back. It wasnt that expensive and it gave people the chance to sober up. They loved it. Just an idea but definitely not necessary.

That's perfectly fine, my church is in Greenlawn, and RH is in Holbrook, so it's basically the same distance. In fact, mine is even farther!

Its a little congested but its nothing worth switching your church or hall over.. like i said they can suck it up!! Its not THAT bad. Besides they are going to have time between the church and the RH anyhow, what else are they gonna do?

I dont think so at all!!! My church is in Bayshore and my RH is in baiting hollow. That is far, but not E. northport to ronkonkoma. Not at all!! Dont worry about it.
