I'm getting married in May and was thinking of having a small e-party in November. Is that too close to the wedding?

Re: Too late for an E-party?
Part of me says it's a little too close to wedding...but part of me completely understands, because we're not having an e-party, so if the opportunity came up where we suddenly could, I would want to jump on it.

Its up to you. I was engaged for 3 years and got re-engaged then had an engagement party a year before the wedding. So why not. Id say go for it and have fun

Well from an Eparty to your wedding will be 5 months. Its kind of close try to make it in end of Sept/Oct & have a small gtg . Personally at this i just wouldnt do it. JMO

Why don't you do an informal dinner with immediate families & bridal parrty? And at someone's house? I think thats appropriate and nice to do. I agree with most of the girls that say 6 months away is way too close to the shower, bachelorette party, dress appointments, etc.

please dont take this the wrong way but I think it might be too late and too close to the wedding. I would just wait for the bridal shower at this point, JMO
