Okay- SO originally I was thinking of just doing a 'color' theme. The BM dresses will most likely be a navy blue, so I was going to stick to navy blue and browns. Then, since the wedding is on the 1st day of Fall, I was going to incorporate some of 'fall' into the decor as well.
NOW, I found DIY centerpieces that I want to do- Hurricane Wine Bottle Candles. Since FH and I are big wine drinkers, I figured I could incorporate wine bottle vases into the decor as well and maybe design the invites to incorporate bottles of wine.
My question is... is this all too much??? Do I have too many themes going or no?

How about you create an inspiration board to help your vision??
Grab photos of what you're thinking and put them all together see if it goes well...

I don't think so....navy blue and browns work with the fall theme...and as long as you don't overdo the wine theme and give them a 'fall feel' I think it will all come together nicely and create a really original look for your wedding!

Crashing... I am partial to the wine theme bc we JUST decided we were going to do something like that, I don't think incorporating some Fall type things are overpowering...
I don't think people typically walk into a wedding and go I see leaves, but I also see wine, what is their theme!? FH didn't even understand what a theme meant until I explained it to him, so I completely think you can mesh it all together.
Can I ask about what you're looking at DIY'ing for centerpiece ideas? I'm not a big floral person but have not found any good examples online of good wine-themed pieces that i like.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner! I just noticed this.... I found this pic and want to do something like this for the centerpieces..
I MAY do a combo of these with orchids submerged in a cylinder vase. Not too sure.
