Oh geez i am starting to panic a little! Our room can really only hold 200 ppl..i really want 180 to be comfortable in the room. If we have over 180 I am putting people in the upper balcony adn I really don't wan to....we invited 217 with hopes of a bunch of no's since the wedding is in PA...but so far the people we thought were no's are yes's!!! I know the no's come later but I am starting to panic. I really didn't want to put people upstairs. I told FH this would happen...but he didn' tlisten and just kept inviting...great!

its so hard to ever tell these things, some say on average you get 20-30% no responses but then you get some who get all yes responses or get more then 30% no responses. I am so afraid with this too.

Thanks! I knew i was in trouble when most of my families list we knew were yes's and since the wedidng is out of town i can see who is booking hotels...so the people i thought were iffy have already booked...

yeah, you never know. We thought we would have too many people and now we're not going to make our minimum. At this point i still don't have a clue what our total count will be!

we invited 143 and expected to get a ton of no's and we didnt we ended up having 139 people

The no's will come later. I had the same panic, but we actually ended up with 20 people less than I had anticipated all along.

Breathe...It will all work out. They say a minimum of 10% will decline, usually more than that.
