I want to get a grey/silver faux fur wrap/shawl to wear on my wedding day, to and from hotel/reception. I found this on etsy - vintage fake chinchilla. Its not the dainty little wraps most brides get. To bulky? Too costume-y? pic in album

If you're just wearing it for warmth I think its fine, but if you think you may be wearing it in pictures I think it's too long. It would cover a lot of your dress and that would be a shame, because your dress looks gorgeous! I think looking for a wrap or shorter jacket (shrug type thing I don't know what they're called! lol) would be better.

Yeah, maybe you ladies are right. I just don't want a shrug thats like a little jacket, because the crystals on my straps will snag everything. I just want something to easily wrap around myself. But, not one of those really little ones where the ends of the shrug/wrap just touch each other when you wrap it around yourself. I guess I want a faux fur wrap thats more substantial, like the size of a small pashmina or a stole. Ugh, I don't know.

I took it down, Karoline. The rest of the ladies helped me decide against it. I think I may have found what I wanted on another website. Or, I may just skip the whole faux fur wrap idea and just suffer for beauty for a couple minutes :)
