07 crashing...
I'm 33 and getting married this September and I have the SAME worries you do.
I had a child out of wedlock when I was 25 so my biological clock has been *snoozed* for a little bit but I DEFINITELY want more children.
I think 35 is a perfect age to have children, mainly b/c its when we plan on trying... haha.
My problem was I got my bachelors when I was 21, started working in the television business, got pretty far and then got knocked up. I gave everything up and don't even work in that business now. Sure, I have my degree, but its useless. I'm supposed to be in grad school now but put THAT off until my son is a little older.
Where am I going to find the time to have another baby??

Re: Too old????
You are definately not too old. I am 34, will be 35 when I get married and do not plan on trying for at least another 2 years. I have lots of friends who are 35+ who have just started having babies with no problems.
The trend recently has been to terrorize women into thinking they will be barren of they don't have their family before 30. It's ridiculous!

I feel your pain. I am 32, will be 33 when married, and don't feel quite ready for children. And I have read that after 35 it gets harder to have kids. But lots and lots of people do it, so I don't feel so alone.

that is so true thanks for saying this
i know that fertility problems are VERY serious and they do occur - but honestly, i was a total mistake and my mom was over 35 when she had me!
it can happen - people are getting healthier and more aware of their bodies and i think that our kids will probably be able to have kids way into their 50s!
i think the key is taking care of yourself. . .i already take prenatal vitamins even though i am nowhere near ready to have kids ( they are just vitamins and good for your hair and nails) and thanks to a recommendation on here, i am going to start taking omega 3 fish oil after the wedding. . . i dont eat like a pig and i try to work out so i dont see why (god willing) i would have any problems in the future!

You'll be fine! I have friends who got married last year and are now expecting (I think she's 34 or35), and the pregnancy is going great. And the fact that you have taken thetime to become finacially secure is smart, kids cost a lot of $$$$! If you really have concerns abot being 'too old' to have a baby talk to your Dr about it they can give you advice about what would be a good, healthy time.
