Too soon to order invites?

Too soon to order invites?

Is it too soon for me to order invites? My sister works for a printing company (50% off, yippie) and she brought home the books for me to look thru, so of course now I'm anxious to place the order.

Is it too early?

As long as you're still able to get the discount - that is an AWESOME discounts BTW - there's no harm in waiting a little - just to see if you like something different!

JMO. I don't think there is necessarily a 'too early' anymore, if you know all the details. Just make sure your guest list is complete. We ordered a little bit early and wound up not ordering enough. We need 10 extra, but had to order as a brand new order and 50 was the minimum! So you might want to either wait a little longer, or make sure to order plenty of extras now.
Other than that, as long as you have a safe place to keep them when they arrive, there's no reason why you should have to wait.

its not too early...but just don't look at invites again...

when I bought things too early...i began to constantly second guess all my choices...

As long as you know nothing will change as far as the dates, times and places that will be on your invites, and you really love them, then why not get them early and get that out of the way? There is so much to do anything you can check off the list is great. You'll also have time for the calligraphy, putting them together, etc. But like the other girls said - don't look at any more once you order. Just be happy with your choice.

Good point.

I havent second guessed my other vendors or items to this point, so I dont think I would.

We're scouring over the books.. its great to have the advantage of being able to take them home. Over the past 2 days we've made a list of all the ones we like in the 4 books, and tomorrow we will lay all the pages out on the living room floor and see which ones we like the best.

Having the discount, I know I wont go anyplace else. So I'd have no more choices, unless they come out with a new book between now and then (I would think that would be highly unlikely)
