Took a walk...

Had to go to the campus bookstore, so I walked from the law school to the caf, dropped off my very heavy backpack and trecked with my laptop and purse alone across the unispan over Hempstead Tpke to the bookstore

In my Skechers Shape Ups. Because I work tonight and they're my work shoes since I work on my feet all day.

The first time I walked any real distance and HOLY THIGH MUSCLES TWITCHING. These shoes are crazy.

So comfy though. I kinda wanted the Reebok toning ones but I couldn't find them yet when I was looking so I ot these.

Moral of this rambling story... if you're thinking of getting them, do it! So worth it!

i meant to post about the reeboks easy tones.

So I got it about a month ago and I finally used it last week, walking about 3-4.5 miles around the park. HOLY MOLY!!! my buttocks were so tender the next day, i thought I was going to fall b/c they were so sore - and my thighs were sore too. I haven't noticed a difference and I really should've measured - but you can feel it. and I love them!!!! i highly recommend getting them. FYI, i got mine on Kohls.com

I think both the Skechers and the Reebok are around $110.

I invested because my feet and back kill me at work and these helped relaing my posture and gave me good arch support. I literally stand in one spot for up to 6 hours at a time some days.

I dont know if i have an older version of the reeboks, but w/ the coupon, they came out to $56!!!

did you have a hard time walking in them the first time around? cuz i did

it's horrible - it's bad to be sittting for so long. Anyways, now that the weather is warmer, and it seems that I'm back in the city more often, I plan on taking lunch walks to add some extra exercise into my routine.

Kohl's always has awesome coupons and sales... but I was shopping in JAnuary when the shoes had just come out so no one was having sales on them yet.. if you could find them at all..and they were expensive! That's a great buy though!

I want to try them but I'm afriad I'll land on my face.
You feel awkward walking in them?

I'm on my feet 8-12hrs/day not moving also, and I'm wearing uncomfy dress shoes .. but I was thinking of getting them for when I work out.

They took some getting used to... but I never felt like I was gonna fall.

I will say they're kind bulky and a little heavy though, so if I were looking to run and stuff in them, I'd make a point to get the Reeboks instead. For walking the Skechers are great though.
