Re: tooth whitening

my teeth are naturally really white...ok well maybe not NATURALLY, but im obsessed with my teeth and they get brushed like 6 times a day, literally, and people think i whiten them, but i dont

Re: tooth whitening

i really wanna do it, but i have a crown on one of my front teeth (due to an unfortunate softball accident when i was younger )

if i whiten my teeth, the crown won't get whiter but the rest of my teeth will. Obv since its a front tooth that would look ridic... so i'd have to get that replaced which would be several hundred dollars.

i really want my teeth to be whiter...but im not sure if its worth the money?!

Re: tooth whitening

yes maam! i just asked my dentist about this. apparently they're phasing the Zoom Whitening out due to it not exactly working for everyone. some people are extremely sensitive to it and it's costly.

Crest has a new one (at the dentists office) with the custom trays that's not as harsh so i'm looking into that.

i was told to start basically a year before the wedding and just do touchups closer to.

if you're gonna use over the counter, concentration isn't as strong so start now maybe??

Re: tooth whitening

ive used crest whitestrips (the 7 day treatment) a couple of times... the first time was the day i got my braces off when i was 17 and another time about 18-24 months after that (so around 19)

im 22 now and i still hear constantly that my teeth are 'SO WHITE' which to me they're not, but its good to know its held up so long...

so im probably going to do a treatment soon, (before e-pics sounds like a good idea), and once more before the wedding...im more concerned about FH doing it!!! He could use the whitening more than I can (smoker, coffee drinker )

Re: tooth whitening

I've tried the Zoom Whitening and Crest White Strips. Neither have really worked for me. So, I'm going to either try the stronger brand of Crest White Strips, or the new Aqua trays.

When I told my dentist I got engaged, he offered to whiten my teeth for free. He said to just stop by before the wedding. I can't wait!!!
