toothache...

toothache...

ok girls... so I am like the queen of teeth problems... I had a rootcanal yrs ago and just yesterday its starting to hurt...
how can it hurt if the nerve is gone?
I can't even bite down on it...!!!
owww.....

should I go back to my dentist? he is going to think I am crazy...

I am the queen of root canals...had 4 of them.

GO TO YOUR DENTIST. It means you have an infection in the root area. I had that and I didn't go to my dentist (same reasoning you have) and it led to an infection in my sinuses and my whole face swelled up. Also, it could be a tooth next to your root canal tooth that is causing pain in that area but in actuallity is another tooth.

So MAKE AN APPT. They will take an xray and tell you what is wrong..

Def. go back to your dentist...if you need the name of a new dentist let me know...my dentist is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! I LOVE GOING TO THE DENTIST NOW!!!!!

The tooth next to it was also a rootcanal... I am a mess... but maybe the one to the right of it is the problem.. but I do not have any cavaties in that tooth... ahhh....

I am gonna prob call the dentist tomorrow and make an appt...

ugh i know the feeling....i was so afraid to go to the dentist that i didnt go for a LONG time...when i did go...well now my mouth is feeling much better (however it cost me thousands of $ over my insurance coverage)_ but that is cause i WAITED TO LONG!

I have never had a root canal, or even a cavity....so I have no advice. I just wanted to say I hope you feel better soon!

I am the Queen of Teeth Problems....6 root canals and 4 caps later *(Accident) I am almsot back to 100%!!

GO TO THE DENTIST!! It could be that they did not go doeep enough in the root when they took it out, that happened to my brother and they had to re-do it...

But, like someone said before...it might be atooth next to it, or even on the top or bottom to it....teeth work in weird ways!

Yes, go to the dentist. I had a problem with a top tooth a few years ago, and the pain radiated through several teeth. So it may not specifically be that tooth. Or maybe it is infected. Have you had all of your wisdom teeth out?

Just to clarify...when i had the root canal on the tooth they did not go deep enough and it got infected, so i had to have another one after the infection was treated. I am pretty sure its one of the two issues i told you. I had serious issues with my teeth some years ago and most of them are dead now with caps on them and one is a bridge because the tooth was so damaged....

awww, you should definitely go to the dentist before it gets worse. I just had my first root canal last week, and i was in so much pain before...i hate having toothaches...feel better soon!
