Top 3 Honeymoons

I'm bored and I love talking about vacations sooooo.........

I want to know what your top 3 honeymoon choices are.. and if you picked one of them and booked, I wanna know why that one and not the others!

My top choices are Bora bora and the Maldives but FH won't go to either cause of how long the flights are, so my 3rd choice is probably going to win barring a miracle.. Bahamas, the new Sandals Emerald Bay.

1. Bora Bora - too expensive
2. Hawaii - That's where we are going
3. Italy - It isnt beach weather in October

heyy sorry for crashing....

I just came back from Hawaii-- and OMG it was AMAZINGG--we stayed on Kauai!! The flight was long but sooooo worth it!!

That emerald bay looks gorgeous!

I'm leaning towards st lucia though.

1. Hawaii - FH doesn't want to go there because I would want to sight see and 'honeymoons are for relaxing.' He's an idiot! But he promised we will go for our 1 year anniversary.

2. Paris - This is out because of the sightseeing too! But it's also a little too expensive.

3. St. Lucia - This is what we plan on doing. Probably the Sandals Grand.

1- Tahiti
2- Hawaii
3- Greece

Edited to say I may have to bump greece for fiji..undecided about this

Top 3 choices:

1. Fiji - Fh hates the beach so this is out. although he promises to take me here someday. riiiight!

2. Mediterranean Cruise/3days in Italy - we havent' booked this, but this is what we have decided we are doing. we both want to go to europe. he has been to italy many times but only to sicily where his family is from and we both want to really see if before we have kids. with a cruise we ge to see a lot of countries and i get to enjoy the pool!

3. Dubai - but this place is crazy expensive and we weren't comfortable with some of their laws there (like, you can't show PDA in the street, even though you are a tourist).

That's the island we are going to stay on!!! I really want to stay at the Grand Hyatt but i saw they opened a new hotel the Koa Kea. Where did you stay?

We booked safari/seychelles. We will do one week in south africa on safari and one week laying on the beach in the seychelles. It was the perfect combo of adventure/R&R for us.

We really loved new zealand as well, but it actually doesn't get that warm there so we nicked it (i need hot hot). The maldives look absolutely breath taking but if you don't scuba there isn't so much in the 'adventure' category (which was something we were looking for).

a friend of mine just came back last year from HM there and she said it was specatacular!
and an old old friend from JR high went to an africa safari adventure and let me tell you, bring like SPF 300!!! lol the sun over there is intense! She was roasted by the time she came back!

1. Sandals Antigua (Mediterranean side)
2. Aruba...

we're going to BOOKE SANDALS IN ANTIGUA though!! Totally in love with it! <3

ahhh no tents for me! the safari takes place on one reserve so we are staying at this great resort there (its not gated or anything so wild life just wander through) and then you take open air jeeps out twice a day.
Then at another place in the seychelles. Both the resorts are tiny and romantic- there are 5 rooms at the first place and 8 at the second
