I've heard mixed reviews about ada.. about photos being flat, I've heard I'd you do the owner tony, is your best bet.... patken my cousin used a few years ago and love her photos... but I've read people thinking there photos were bad from a few people on here... for the rest I don't have any feedback... when I did the search I looked at ada, silverfox and foxlight. .. and ended up choosing foxlight. . Good luck on the search doll :)

I'm biased as a Lighthouse bride but they really are amazing. Engagement pics in my albums (there's an outdoor session and studio session album). I've heard the same things about Ada mentioned above.. That they have more of a traditional style of photography. We wanted someone with more of a mix of traditional and phtoojournalistic fancy shots. As for patken.. A friend used them last winter for her wedding and while her pictures came out great, she was disappointed there weren't any 'wow' shots.. Granted she didn't have a list of must haves or anything. but I just think lighthouse and studio 27 are more artistic in their photo approach. Again, it's all based on what you want. Everyone looks at every photographer differently.

Studio 27 is amazing! I booked them almost a year ago for my Nov weddng! After seeing my engagment pics two more of my friends booked them and they just shot my best friends wedding last weekend. By 2 am the night of the wedding they had posted 100 edited pictures on line!

If you have any questions about them please feel free to message me! tell them Jordan sent you, you'll be in good hands

Patken! Hands down!!! We originally booked with a different photographer last year and they screwed us over. Patken came to our rescue!!! We couldn't be happier. They're work is amazing, everyone at their studio is super nice. I'm so thankfully they were even available and even more that they helped us out.

Personal Experience/Opinion here: My brother and sister in law used Patken and it was upsetting how their photos came out. The engagement shoot they actually cut off half my brother face and it made the photo awkward. A lot of their photos are very awkward poses not very natural. Saw them at a bridal showcase recently and 2 of their books had the grooms faces cut off again like they did to my brothers - I thought with time the pictures would change since they got married in 2007 but they still appeared the same.

Studio 27 was my backup option if I didn't choose the guy I ultimately picked.

I'm not sure - we still make fun of my brothers Engagement photo to this day - it hangs in my parents house with a note that says 'where is the rest of my sons face' HAHA! When we saw them at the bridal showcase on Monday night my mom noticed it in 2 of their books and took photos and sent them to my brother asking if it brought back good memories.

I just felt like none of their pictures were very natural its like 'sniff the brides neck', 'hold her by the fountain as she oddly tries to lay in a sexy position'...I looked into them for my wedding because the prices were good but ALL of their photos looked EXACTLY like my brothers, after 8 years you think you would put a spin on it. Change it up. Just had to share our experience - not trying to be negative nancy but I like to be informative.

No, the more opinions the better. I really love Studuo 27s work. But my top is lighthouse and I have been following them on facebook wayyyyy before I got engaged! haha so im not sure what to do. I loved the prices from Patken from when I have gotten from talking to doug. But I'm not sure. In the end I don't want traditional photos I want to be wowd with my oics when I the back

Definitely biased since I booked lighthouse but they really are amazing and down to earth people. I have to say Studio 27 does amazing work too though, tough choice but I of course say lighthouse LOL

I have to agree with many of the ladies on here about Patken. My cousin used them and they were not happy with the outcome, said there were no 'wow' photos, just nice ones, and it took forever to get their album/thank you cards.
We met with Lighthouse, their work is beautiful but we just didn't click with who we met with, and they were slightly out of our price range. I didn't look into studio 27 too much but I think their work is great too. Good luck!
