Anybody know how to make the top of the photo cube card box? What are the materials needed? And how do you get it to look like a pillow??? I am so DIY challenged! Please help!

I'm pretty sure u just need some kinda styrofoam or something and then batting (thats what will make it fluffy looking like a pillow. I'm not sure whatelse you need or how to put it together...when I get to that point I'm probably just going to ask FH to help me

here's another question along those lines - once you're all done with the wedding and you take the box home, how do you get it open again? can you put the top on with a hinge or something so you don't have to break it open? i know that kind of defeats the purpose of having it be secure if it's left alone at the reception, but I'd hate to risk breaking something that looks so nice. Am I just being stupid about this?

I'm actually just going to kind of lay the top on somehow... first of all, we're having a REALLY small wedding so I'll know everyone there..and 2nd of all if someone really wants to steal the money, securing the top probably won't stop them. I'm just gonna take the whole thing apart afterwards anyway and hang the frames on the walls.

I used a piece of wood which my father cut to size and drilled a hole in for the cards. I covered it with fabric and attached it to the top of the box with velcro.
