So we got married yesterday and they gave us the top of the wedding cake. The problem is my DH loved the cake so much - he wants to eat it now! Is it bad luck if I cut the cake in half and we save half for our 1st anniversary and eat the other half now??

Most people never wind up eating the cake on the first anniversary,, the taste is less than stellar than...

We got married June 20th and stored the cake at our mom's, sealed in Tupperware, in her spare freezer. When we were there this past weekend, DH was begging me to crack open his favorite...our Wedding Cake!!!!!!!!!! Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Icing mmmmmmmmmmm it was so yummy HAHAHHAHAH he was dying to take a bite but I threatened to chop his little fingers off if he went near it. I hear it's bad luck....who knows

We ate it on our one month IoI It was too damn good. I figured I am going to order another 8 inch cake for our ann or maybe make one.

I heard you eat it after one Year! But will it taste as good??? Even if it's freezed??? I don't think it would!!!!!! FH would want to eat it on his birthday which is a month after our wedding!
