Top Reception Venue Contenders
So far my FH and I have visited the following five venues:
Thatched Cottage
The Metropolitan
Chateau La Mer
Westbury Manor
Douglaston Manor
They were all unique and beautiful in their own ways but at this point we think it's down to Westbury Manor and Douglaston. Westbury is truly beautiful and based on the reviews we know that the service is impeccable. The price is pretty good (about 85pp for a Saturday afternoon) but they aren't very flexible with the times. The reception would have to start at 12:30, which we feel is a little early.
Douglaston is more flexible with the times and more affordable but doesn't seem to offer as in the ways of food and service as Wesbury.
Any suggestions? Feedback? Would be much appreciated!
