I'm torn about whether or not to do the bouquet toss to begin with. But when i was talking to my FSIL who is my MOH, i told her that i'm tossing the real thing. She said i can't do that and i could have a fake one made up for cheap.
But to me... (this is going to sound odd) but i really don't want to keep dead flowers around. My FSIL said that i can put them in a keepsake box or frame, but i don't want to. What do i need my old dead bouquet for? I have photographs and a video to remember the day.
So my question is... did any of you throw the real bouquet? And what ever happened to that saying that whoever catches the bouquet will be getting married next and it is good luck? Does this apply to a fake bouquet because then it just seems stupid to me?

Our florist provided me with a toss bouquet which was real. It was similar to my bouquet.

I'm tossing my real boquet. I'll have it all day anyway. It's not a big deal to me.

This is what my florist is doing too. It's called a tossing bouquet and it specifically for that purpose.

My florist was supposed to provide a real tossing bouquet, but it didn't happen. I threw my real one.
They made me a new one afterwards to make up for it.

tooo bo-k is real, just smaller then what you will have. to tell you the truth, either people don't notice the difference cause they get caught up in catching the bo-k or they already know its not 'the' bo-k.
Toss the fake, we made a keep sake foral and our 'dead' flowers still look real and capture the day

Okay. Thanks for clarification. I did not throw my bouquet but rather the one that the florist provides.

I'm not doing the bouquet toss. It seems no one even likes to get up and try to catch it anyway. The whole thing is uncomfortable, only my opinion though.
